Apart from winning many accolades and awards, Nine Vines has become popular around the world. Mostly Grenache, the secret to it's allure, with about a third of Shiraz, harvested off the finest vineyards. Grapes are kept cool on the journey to the winery, where they are filled to vessels for cold settling. The individual parcels are separately crushed into rotary fermenters and cooled to 10°C. After twenty four hours on skins, batches are gently pressed, clarifiedand inoculated with yeasts which have been isolated for their capacity to enhance fruit characters. Juices are cool fermented until almost dry, leaving very little resisdual sugar. Components are then stabilised, clarified and assembled into the finished wine. Alcohol 12.5%

Brightly pink in colour. Vibrant raspberry, strawberry and cherry aromas combine with fresh fruit salad and lovely crispness on the palate. A dry finish lends the wine to a variety of foods. Nine Vines embodies the Australian sunshine, and recalls warm days by the beach. Enjoy well chilled as the sun slowly sets with grilled fish or Thai chicken curry.

The spectacular success of Aramis can be traced back to the terroir of a unique site. Vines are all low yielding and planted on their own rootstock, to some of the world's oldest mineral rich soils, under the most temperate of Mediterranean climes. Only the choicest parcels of fruit are considered for vinification under the Aramis label and the most exacting principles are employed throughout the winemaking process. An uncompromising attention to detail amongst the vines during the growing season, thinning and plucking by hand, is followed by fastidious sorting of berries at vintage. A selection of the finest oak barrels are utilized to mellow and integrate the firm McLaren Vale Syrah tannins.

Deep purple with a refined bead. Dark chocolate, anise and vanilla/ cedar bouquet with hints of blackberries and spice. A solid palate with chewy tannins, densely packed with ripe dark cherry fruit flavours, mocha and complex spice. Argiano established it's Montalcino vineyards with a priority to determine the most favourable aspects and climes. Harvest normally begins around the end of September as the earlier ripening Syrah and Merlot are brought to the Argiano wineworks, followed in October by the later cropping Cabernet and Sangiovese. Each of four different varieties are separately vinified to preserve their individual characteristics. Upon completion of ferments, the wines are put to second use French oak barriques and traditional large Slovenian casks for several months maturation, softening the tannins and integrating the fruit, before the final assemblage of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and equal parts Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah.

Deep scarlet colour. Aromas of currant and spice, black fruits, chocolate and plum. The palate exhibits exciting power, generous fruit flavours with the inherent sweetness of Merlot acting as a bridge between the firm earthiness of Sangiovese, spicy blackcurrant of Cabernet and warm red fruit of Syrah. Full bodied with soft tannins and long lasting finish.

A backbone of Blewett Springs fruit, grown to rich shaly loams, is supported by components from the higher windy aspects around Willunga. Grapes are picked on the basis of colour and flavour, throughout the chill of night to enable a cold onset to fermentation. Parcels are crushed and vinified for up to ten days in small open top fermenters with neutral yeasts at around 20C. Ferments are hand pumped over, rack and returned to ensure optimum colour and tannin, followed by a soft airbag pressing to limit bitter extractions, achieving a fruit driven style. Treated to natural malolactic in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads, followed by a year's maturation.

Intense dark red with purple hue. Primary fruit aromas of plum, dark berries, nutmeg and mocha are complemented by vanillan oak characters. A full, rich palate with vibrant dark berry characters with overtones of mocha and spice. A well balanced wine with great depth, length and persistence of flavour.
