Established 1983 in McLaren Vale, the Andrew Garrett label has long been regarded as an honest and unpretentious marque that delivers excellent value wines, approachable and reliable from year to year. Following selection and the crush, Shiraz is inoculated and vinified in a combination of temperature controlled fermenters. The base wines are racked and aged before a regimen of trials to determine the assemblage. A secondary fermentation is induced in bottle to create the fine, textural mousse.

A fine textural mouthfeel, soft and elegant, supported by solid tannins, controlled background oak and refreshing acidity. Only the choicest parcels of fruit are considered for vinification under the Aramis label and the most exacting principles are employed throughout the winemaking process. An uncompromising attention to detail amongst the vines during the growing season, thinning and plucking by hand, is followed by fastidious sorting of berries at vintage. A selection of the finest oak barrels are utilized to mellow and integrate the firm McLaren Vale Syrah tannins.
