After inoculation to select yeasts and a long, cool fermentation the wine is assembled and lightly filtered before bottling. Approx 13.5%

Annie's Lane cuts through one of the Clare Valley's first vineyards. To this day, the Annie's Lane team retain some of the most distinguished sites and secure the best quality grapes. Harvests of Chardonnay are sourced which can weigh in with the smallest berries, show great colour and offer the biggest flavours. Some thinning of the vines during the growing season keeps the fruit flavours and palate weight developing. Following the crush, unclarified juices are left to settle and racked off lees before a portion is fermented in oak, combining the bright fruit driven characters with a touch of nutty, leesy complexity. The remainder is tank vinified, slow and cool, retaining the vital regional charm of Clare Valley Chardonnay.

Pale straw with green hues. Aromas of peach and cinnamon develop into lively varietal flavours across the soft and full flavoured palate. Citrus notes, grapefruit and integrated background oak characters create complexity. Enjoy Annies Lane with Alfresco cuisine and chicken pasta recipes.

Bleasdale is Australia's most enduring family operated wineries, tracing it's establishment to 1858 when Frank Potts planted his vines on the banks of Bremer River. He named his property after Reverend John Ignatius Bleasdale who advocated a sober, wine drinking community to the exclusion of hard spirits. A sound business case indeed. Sauvignon Blanc grapes are hand picked from choice Adelaide Hills sites and gently whole bunch pressed directly to French oak barrels. Fermentations are inititated by wild indigenous yeasts from the vineyard still present on the skins, followed by a regimen of lees stirring battonage and nine months maturation before bottling. Alcohol 13.0%

Founded in 1850, Bleasdale make honest, consistent, reliable wines which are enjoyed throughout the world. The vineyards are situated on the fertile flood plains of the Bremer River, which runs parallel to Langhorne Creek. The region still experiences natural floods from the high rainfall that gushes out of the Adelaide Hills and heads towards the sea from time to time. The deluge gives vines a deep soaking drink just before the parching Australian summer. Bleasdale is treated to a cold temperature controlled fermentation with select yeasts, followed by prompt bottling to achieve a well balanced Chardonnay with fruit dominance and good complexity while retaining vibrant aromatics. Alcohol 13.5%
