Those talanted folks at Amberley love exploring new wine styles and mixes of fruit which appeal to contemporary tastes. Enter Kiss & Tell, a delicious cépage of Frontignac Muscat, displaying lovely aromaticness and silky mouthfeel, with a component of the luscious Gordo Blanco which contributes added richness. A tiny touch of sweet Shiraz gives the wine its pink tinge and adds lively raspberry notes. Parcels grown to good vineyards which can best display the requisite ripe fuit and juicy grape characters are treated to a combination of modern and traditional vinification techniques, infusing the wine with a slight effervescence to delight the palate and titillate the nose. Apart from winning many accolades and awards, Nine Vines has become popular around the world. Mostly Grenache, the secret to it's allure, with about a third of Shiraz, harvested off the finest vineyards. Grapes are kept cool on the journey to the winery, where they are filled to vessels for cold settling. The individual parcels are separately crushed into rotary fermenters and cooled to 10°C. After twenty four hours on skins, batches are gently pressed, clarifiedand inoculated with yeasts which have been isolated for their capacity to enhance fruit characters. Juices are cool fermented until almost dry, leaving very little resisdual sugar. Components are then stabilised, clarified and assembled into the finished wine. Alcohol 12.5%

Annies Lane are based around a bounty of the best vineyards. As with all of their production, the priority is to fashion a Rosé which meets the high quality standards that wine lovers have come to expect from Annie's Lane, while ensuring the wine retains that laid back feel which really suits the contemporary Australian lifestyle. Fashioned from fruit grown to distinguished estate vineyards in Valley Clare, parcels are crushed and treated to a cold soak on skins just long enough to attain the desired pink hue. Batches are drained and vinified in controlled fermenters through the action of choice aromatic yeasts. Upon completion, components are fined, assembled and bottled promptly to retain vitality.

Balgownie Sparkling Cuvee Rose NV

A fusion of Balgownie's splendid Bendigo Shiraz with a component of fruit forward Pinot Noir grown to the estate vineyard in Yarra Valley. Hand picked grapes are lightly pressed, steeped briefly on skins to infuse the wine with a delicate salmon hue and treated to a cool fermentation for the retention of vibrant fresh fruit flavours and bouquet.

Balgownie can rely on harvests of the finest Shiraz to craft wines of distinction and poise. The vineyard is planted to alluvial clay soils that are low in fertility but provide good moisture retention. The soils naturally limit yields and produce grapes displaying intensity and great depth of flavour. The dedicated team subscribe to the philosophy that the finest quality wines can only be determined in the vineyard. Viticultural management practices aim to strike a balance between vegetative growth and moderate yields. A backbone of richly flavoured Bendigo Shiraz is treated to a short maceration and co-vinified alongside parcels of Yarra Valley Pinot Noir, achieving a crisp sparkling wine with pink rose hue and lively effervescence.

Bremerton are well positioned to assemble parcels of Cabernet and Shiraz which are just perfect for Rosé. Vines are all closely husbanded, painstakingly treated to a regimen of leafy plucking and canopy management for optimal exposure to sunlight without over ripening. Judicious levels of acidity and perfect natural fruit sugar baumes are essential, bringing in the harvest, row by row, as grapes achieve ideal physiological ripeness, is timed to a schedule determined by eating the berries straight off the vine. Fruit is cold soaked on skins and drained, just as juices pick up the desired blush pink hue. Batches are vinified in controlled fermenters and bottled promptly to retain vivaciousness. Alcohol 12.5%

Previous vintage claimed Trophy at Cairns Best Wine for Enjoyment in the Tropics! Winemaker Ross Pamment has fashioned a gorgeous Rose, voluminously flavoured in mature adults only styling. The Brookland Valley team gave quite a bit of thought as to an appropriate style for the cool maritime Margaret River and came up with a mainly Merlot and Cabernet Franc blend. A vibrantly pink wine that's undergone short term skin contact, Verse 1 entices the nose with fragrances of raspberry and rose petal, a deeply flavoured palate and pleasant lingering finish.

The Brookland Valley team take a special interest in the creation and enjoyment of Rose. Whilst in the midst of cold and windy Willyabrup winter, the Merlot and Cabernet Franc blocks are carefully pruned to precise regimens designed to develop vibrant varietal characters which will integrate into the perfect Rose wine. The essential consideration is to harvest grapes at ideal ripeness and to complete the finished wine through a minimum of intervention. Merlot and Cabernet Franc were chosen for softness, full flavours and perfumed rose petal characters. After a short term of skin contact followed by the use of only free run juice, Brookland Valley have crafted a wine that literally sings, pick me again.
 
Magenta pink hue. Beautifully aromatic, fresh raspberry, red currants and cherry, floral notes of violets and rose. Sweet plum and apple fruit over supple, round tannins, the mouthfeel is juicy, it's tangy and fresh, berry acidity dwells round the middle palate and fills the mouth with aeroplane jelly flavours. Good length of flavour before a crisp, dry finish, served now, chilled with good company.

Cienna grapes are sourced from the sun drenched Mystic Park vineyard where the vines thrive, yielding ripe, juicy fruit that's made to measure for the fresh supple, and easy drinking everyday style Brown Brothers is aiming for. Harvested at a range of baume levels from 12C to 14C, immediately crushed, inoculated and vinified under cool temperatures to capture the sensational natural expressions of Crouchen, Riesling and Ciena. One look and you're hooked, the ultimate experience in Moscato must not only taste good, it should delight all five senses. Brown Brothers have been making Muscat wines ever since 1889, today they can assemble harvests of Muscat Alexandria, Orange Muscat and the red CSIRO grape Cienna, to add the darling blush colour. Rosé Gold aims to please, a bouquet of honeysuckle perfumes before a palate of luscious grape flavours, all within a satin texture of gently crackling effervescence, petulante, procative and pretty in pink.

The juice of the King Valley Pinot was macerated with the skins of the dark-coloured grapes until the required colour was reached. The juice was then separated from the skins and fermented in the white wine manner. The fruit was harvested in parcels from early March until mid March 2006 at a range of baume levels from 11.7 to 14.2. It was bottled soon after fermentation was completed with an alcohol of 12.5%, a pH of 3.33, and an acid level of 8.5gr/l.
 
The 2006 Rose is a bright, attractive, vibrant watermelon colour. Hand picked from the King Valley this Pinot Noir Rose has aromas of watermelon combined with hints of rose petal and a touch of strawberries. The palate inspires words such vibrant, racy, fresh and zesty. Classic in the European Rose style the wine is almost savoury with a hint of citrus; a lip-smacking wine that makes your mouth water with desire for more. With a crisp refreshing finish, chill and enjoy this wine with or without food.

Muscat of Alexandria and Ciena share a great affinity for each other and enjoy soaking up the sun in the warmer climes along the Mallee. A hybrid of an obscure Spanish grape named Sumoll and the Cabernet varietal, Ciena favours good sunshine to develop ripe red berry fruit characters. Mystic Park Vineyard yields parcels of deliciously, plump, juicy grapes, bursting with flavour, just perfect for an effervescent wine. Muscat and Ciena are harvested at full physiological ripeness, showing high levels of baume ranging from 9.5° to 12.5°. Fruit is treated to a traditional Charmat vinification which retains the stunning grape flavours and aromas, to be bottled promptly after vinification. Alcohol 7.0%

Prosecco is harvested off the prestigious Banksdale property in the upper reaches of Valley King, a choice parcel is assembled from the Brown Brothers Ciena vineyard in Murray Valley. Grapes are picked at a high baumé of natural sugar, late in the season to allow full development of rich fruit esters. Upon completion of primary vinification, components are treated to the traditional Charmat process at a pressure of five atmospheres, promptly bottled to retain the refined effervescence.
