100% estate grown fruit made and bottled at the Karina Winery at Dromana on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Karina is a small family owned vineyard and winery established in the early eighties. This release having enjoyed several years to develop in the bottle is now mature, well balanced, settled and robust, showing all the characteristic cool fleshiness that has made Mornington renowned for it's mouth filling cool climate Chardonnays. A hearty vintage with fruit swelling climate, optimal yield and quality for the Chardonnay.

This ensured the attainment of maximum ripeness and varietal characters whilst reducing the likelihood of the stronger nose and palate that can be typical of the Chardonnay. Winemaking family has ensured painstaking pruning of the vinayard, and all the vines contributing to the Karina Chardonnay were hand-picked. Alcohol: 13.

The bouquet reveals rich fruit with hints of spicy oak. On the palate lively melon and peach flavours are in abundance and integrate nicely with the subtle French oak. An underlying yet firm acidity contributes to the overall balance and long clean finish. .
