Murray Street was established in 2001 by families Seppelt and Jahnke. They shared a vision of crafting small batch artisanal wines, in the painstaking old world traditions of Barossa Valley's early settlers. Murray Street's vineyard and wineworks are fortuitously positioned on a tapestry of beautiful rolling landscape near the ancient winemaking village of Greenock at the western end of Barossa. Working together with a small but dedicated team of vignerons and friends, the folks on Murray Street produce small amounts of the most intensely flavoured Shiraz.

Minimal intervention techniques in the vineyard preserve the natural balance of indigenous bio organisms, all clippings are mulched and a permanent mid row sward of native grasses is encouraged. The Murray Street winemaking team has grown to include some of the region's most talented and dynamic personalities as they continue to strive for the extraordinary. Individual vineyard parcels of Shiraz are separately vinified in small batch ferments. The finished wine is matured eighteen months in a selection of seasoned and new, French and American oak hogsheads. Alcohol 15.0%

Andrew Nugent grew up next door to the ancient Penfold wineworks at Magill. He established a profound reputation as viticulturalist amongst the grand old estates of McLaren Vale, before returning to sow his very own vineyards in Adelaide Hills. Treated to eighteen months in a selection of the finest French oak, Nest Egg's bramble, anise and cherry largess are supported by a caisson of opulent ebony tannins. Only ever made of the finest vintages, growing season 2013 yielded a mere 800 dozen individually numbered bottles of Nest Egg Cabernet Sauvignon.

The vineyards face north and boast a terroir of deep, well drained red earth soils, formed from millenia of decomposing metamorphic rock. The cool climate and location are perfectly balanced to completely ripen grapes which can translate into memorable wines with elegant flavours. Following a thorough hand picking and sorting of berries, Nest Egg Shiraz is treated to a traditional vinification before transfer to a selection of tight grained French oak barrels for a minimum eighteen months maturation.

The highly opportune Pinot Noir vines at Bird In Hand are planted on the site of an ancient gold mine, a godsend of fortuitously fertile soils, magnificent growing conditions for stellar quality Adelaide Hill wines. Fermented in own bottle and aged five years on lees in true Méthode champenoise, the term of extended maturation imparts luxurious biscuit notes, chantilly crème and frais de bois. Norfolk Rise Vineyard is located at the very southern tip of South Australia, renowned for its rugged coastline, exotic seafood and long, white sandy beaches. Heavily influenced by a unique microclimate, Norfolk Rise captures the regional characteristics of the lee under Mount Benson, translating into wines of the highest calibre.

$1999each $239DOZEN EACH DOZEN Situated at the heart of Mount Benson, the Norfolk Rise Vineyard is planted on 180 hectares of undulating coastal hills. Within five kilometres of the ocean at 37 degrees south of the equator, Cabernet Sauvignon is planted on near perfect Terra rossa soils, providing an ideal level of nutrient and water retention. Completely surrounding the winemaking facility, Norfolk Rise Vineyard has been, without compromise, planted specifically to suit each individual variety. Grapes were picked, transferred to red fermenters, inoculated and vinified for six days at temperatures less than 28C. Matured fourteen months in newly seasoned French and American oak barriques.

Medium dark crimson red. Fine bouquet, ripe and restrained cabernet nose with earthy notes and cedar spice, very subdued blackcurrants and just a touch of violet perfume. A rich palate of dark berry fruits with a spine of firm lingering tannins. Enjoy with beef, aubergines and parmesan.

Planted atop the highest ridge dissecting the vineyard, the defining visual impact of Norfolk Rise is a hundred Norfolk Island Pines planted along a five hundred metre length of ridge. Lying in the lee of the trees under Mount Benson, are parcels of Merlot vines uncompromisingly husbanded to the most wholistic viticultural practices. The dark blue berries ripen slowly into voluptuous Merlot grapes with distinctive primary fruit characters.

The vines are planted on near perfect Terra Rossa soils, providing an ideal level of nutrient and water retention. Grapes are picked, immediately de-stemmed and crushed. Inoculation ensues in a combination of small static and ganimede fermenters following a brief cold soak. Juices are vinified for several days at temperatures below 28C, followed by a year's maturation in a selection of seasoned French and American oak barriques, followed by a light filtration before bottling.

Medium crimson red colour. Fragrant violets and sweet cherry, dark chocolates, a hint of dried herb and lightly spiced cedar. Cherry, plum and forest fruit flavours balanced by chocolate and vanilla oak notes, finishing with good length and soft fine tannins. To accompany gilled lamb chops or rabbit casserole, ravioli or veal.

Kreglinger is a distinguished trading company founded 1797, it significantly holds registration Number 1 in the city of Antwerp. The group extended its operations to Australia, establishing the Norfolk Rise Vineyard and winery at Mount Benson on the Limestone Coast. The highest standards of viticulture are adhered to, the splendid range of wines bear the hallmarks of exacting standards in viticulture and fastidious winemaking. Engagingly Pinot Grigio, textural and fine with winsome pinenut and orange blossom characters, a match to dressed quail or grilled fresh whitings.

Parcels of Pinot Grigio are selectively harvested to a timetable determined by physiological ripeness, allowing full expression of varietal fruit character. Grapes are handled in a manner to preserve integrity and avoid any juice oxidation or browning. Small portions of chilled grapes are held on skins for optimal extractions of flavour. Juices are clarified and a long, cool fermentation is initiated by aromatic yeast strains. To maximise the retention of fresh fruit flavours and aromas, Norfolk Rise is bottled immediately after vinification and assemblage.

Pale straw with a blush hue. Aromas of musk, white nectarine and pears, orange blossom notes and a hint of spice. Fresh and fruity with ripe pear and lemon sherbet flavours balanced by a delicate and soft mineral finish. Fresh and mouth watering, the perfect accompaniment to seafoods and fresh salad.
