Kilikanoon own and operate the choicest vineyards. Oracle is a special bottling of Shiraz from fruit grown to prime low yielding blocks, some planted over forty years ago by Mort Mitchell, father of Kilikanoon's proprietor winemaker. These salubrious sites are at the heart of a group of Watervale vineyards which provide the core fruit for Kilikanoon's most prestigious labels. Fully ripened Shiraz grapes are carefully hand selected off a number of aged parcels on the estate's Golden Hillside property. Traditional methods are employed thoughout vinification, followed by an old fashioned basket press and twenty months in a selection of new and one year old French oak hogsheads.

A palate full of expression and textual splendour, dark cherries, rich chocolate notes and smokey French oak carry over from the nose and blend divinely over finely balanced tannins and gentle acidity, a Shiraz of extraordinary length, complexity and persistence.

Cabernet and Shiraz from the distinguished Metala Vineyard are collated after several pickings and taken on a drive to the wineworks for an old school, hands on vinification, the aim being to fashion an authentic red wine with soul. Grapes are placed into open top fermenters and treated to a regimen of manual pumpovers before gentle pressing. Parcels which can best demonstrate upfront juicy fruit character with a juicy texture and velvety soft tannins are assembled into the final wine. Scaredy Cat is matured eighteen months in a selection of one year old French and American oak barriques, a component remains unoaked to retain vital fresh fruit character, the finished wine is bottled after minimal filtration.

Deep crimson red colour. Black forest cake with dark chocolate truffles on the bouquet intertwined by nettle, brambles and cassis aromas over an underlying aniseed and wild berry complexity. Lovely, fragrant blackcurrant and cedar flavours, fine tannins support the fruit and provide great extension through to the back palate. A lasting finish of currant, licorice seeds and eucalypt. Match with grills and hearty vegetarian recipes.

There are no secrets to the success of Brothers in Arms. Vines were established in 1891 and have been husbanded by the same family of growers ever since. Their connection with the land is strong and whatever they do, they do it well from the start. The winemaking itself is never hurried, the focus is always on quality rather than quantity. Killibinbin is Langhorne Creek Shiraz with attitude, it's bold and has a strong sense of self. An intensity of black fruit flavours are entwined with toasty graphite oak, over a sound structure of fine tannins and velvety mouthfeel.

A pure, single estate Shiraz from five individual plantings grown to the distinguished Metala property at Langhorne Creek. The quality of wines produced here are very much the result of dedication and a close connection to the land which goes back five generations. The winemakers live within the vineyard itself, just two minutes down the road from the winery. The estate's patriarch Arthur Formby established vines at Metala in 1891, encouraged to do so by his brother in law Ronald Martin of Stonyfell, where the wines are still made to this day. Killibinbin is treated to an extended maturation of twenty four months in a selection of new and seasoned French and American oak barriques.

Deep magenta/ crimson colour. Intense aromas from the darker fruit spectrum, prunes and plum, blackcurrant sitting alongside licorice and tar, fennel and pepper. Mouthfilling juicy purple fruits explode in the mouth, well balanced acidity keeps things tight. Ripe, firm tannins and sustained fruits throughout with a spicy/ savoury twist.

Brothers In Arms are the essence of Langhorne Creek, representing five generations of grape growing tradition. Vines at Metala were established in 1891, for many decades, the source of fruit to some of Australia's most memorable vintages. The rich soils and favourable climes at Langhorne Creek encourage grapes to ripen slowly and completely, developing exemplary varietal flavours with healthy acids and rich tannins. Cabernet and Shiraz are vinified in open top fermenters and treated to a regimen of manual pumpovers before gentle pressing and racking. The finished wine is matured eighteen months in a selection of two and three year old, exclusively French oak barriques.
