Old Pulteney Huddart Malt Whisky 700ml
Since 1826, the Pulteney Distillery has crafted a Single Malt Scotch Whisky that is the very essence of its remarkable location. Old Pulteney is the embodiment of tradition, people and place. Matured in hand selected, air dried oak casks which have previously held Bourbon, the distinguished Old Pulteney is the definitive expression of Maritime Malt.

Founded in 1826 by James Henderson, the Pulteney Distillery is the most northerly on the British mainland. It's unique nature includes pot stills that defy convention. The wash still, lacking a swan neck, fascinates visitors. Legend says that on delivery it was too tall for the still house and the top was simply cut off. To reflect these ancient stills, the Old Pulteney bottle incorporates a bulbous neck. Crafted to ancient techniques, this winner of numerous gold medals is the epitome of refinement. Traditional craftsmanship and the distillery's wind swept location give life to the highly awarded and distinguished Old Pulteney Single Malt

Deep amber colour with slightly pink hue. A medium to high intensity bouquet, dry with a hint of sea air. Dry, medium bodied palate that's exceptionally smooth with a clean finish, lingering faintly salty with a slight spicy note

Puni Malt begins with clear mountain spring water, the choicest Vinschgau Valley grain and undisclosed yeasts. A traditional Whisky making process means grinding to a grist, mashing and open ferments to a wash in large open casks of Tyrolean larch. The freshly made beer is pumped into a sequence of hand made brewing pots for a course of Distillations. Pini employ several types of seasoned oak for maturation, Bourbon barrels from America, Marsala casks from Sicily, wine casks from warmer climes in southern Tyrol and Whisky casks from Scotland. Pini age their stocks in old military bunkers, perfect places for maturing Malt, deep caverns with a constant high humidity level and low, stable temperatures.

The moreishness of dark berries, cherries and blackcurrant running throughout the length of nose and palate, elegant, fulfillingly complex, the exceptionally smooth Singleton is marked by profound sweet fruity notes and lingering, pleasurable warmth.

Singleton Spey Dufftown Cascade Single Malt 700ml
Dufftown Distillery first drew water from Highlandman John's Well in 1896 and continues to do so to this day. Distilled since 1896 with water so pure, legend has it that rival distillers have even tried to divert its course. No wonder, since the exceptional quality of the water is just one of the natural elements that gives Singleton of Dufftown Single Malt Whisky its exceptional smoothness. The classic Speyside fruit sweetness, blackcurrant notes, brown sugar and espresso, immensely pleasurable, elegantly drying and crisp on a finish of lingering warmth.
